Los Gallardos is a traditional town with recent modernisations. Well connected for the A7 motorway and coastal resorts such as Mojácar and located at a convenient place which is exactly why most of the hiking trails within the eastern Almería region start at Los Gallardos. The view of Aquas and Juato rivers, and old Ibero Roman city along with a number of other archeological sites are a delight to watch and visit.
